As the appointed Art Director of the rebranding for Capital Gardens, I was responsible for establishing a consistent and coherent brand identity across all eight garden centres.

The brand incorporates the materiality of plants and home goods into its visual identity, with a focus on engaging the customer through the use of tactile materials, and printing methods such as foiling and embossing. The carved inscriptions not only reduce our carbon footprint, but they also use less water and CO2 during the manufacturing process, making them an environmentally conscious choice.

For the Alexander Calder auction taking place in New York, I was responsible for designing the visual identity, full book interior and cover, the exhibition signage and other derived external printed marketing assets.

Drawing inspiration from the industrial materials used by the artist, such as steel, aluminum, and wire, I incorporated metallic papers and printing methods throughout all the assets. From letterpress to metallic foiling, each element was thoughtfully crafted to convey the essence of the artist’s work and style.

For the Jan Krugier Collection’s auction, Christie’s required a branding that would evoke a sense of trust and tradition. Working alongside the Creative Director, we developed a comprehensive and visually impactful sale identity that effectively communicated the Collectionist’s commitment to excellence in the art world.

Our design choices, including elegant typography, carefully curated printing methods as well as high-quality and refined paper stocks, served to reinforce Christie’s unparalleled level of service and expertise.
